Job description:
The Event Sales Manager is an exciting role that combines creativity, relationship-building, and business development to help grow The Green Ridge Club. This position is responsible for driving sales, attracting new clients for weddings, social and corporate events and promoting The Green Ridge Club within the community. As we are under new ownership and newly renovated in 2024, this is a unique opportunity for someone with strong people skills and a creative mindset to implement innovative strategies to increase visibility and drive wedding and social sales. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensuring a seamless handoff to the event operations team for planning and execution. The ideal candidate has sales experience, a background in the hospitality industry, is a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple leads while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Relationship Management
Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients through lead generation, networking, and referrals.
Conduct sales presentations and site tours to promote the venue or event services, understanding client needs to exceed expectations.
Convert phone and email inquiries into confirmed bookings by negotiating pricing, contracts, minimums, and event details.
Manage and track all sales leads and client interactions.
Build a strong network within the local wedding and social event industry (vendors, planners, photographers, etc.) for potential lead generation.
Provide clients with event packages, catering options, décor, and venue layout suggestions.
Assist clients with timelines, budgeting, and vendor recommendations while keeping within the parameters of the event’s scope.
Collaborate with the operations and event planning teams to ensure the successful execution of all booked events.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and create memorable experiences, aiming for repeat business and referrals.
Marketing and Promotions:
Lead the marketing meetings to develop and execute promotional strategies for weddings and social events (social media campaigns, email newsletters, bridal shows, etc.)
Participate in local bridal shows and expos to represent the Green Ridge Club and increase brand visibility.
Stay informed on industry trends to recommend innovative ideas and services to clients.
Create and maintain a presence on all social media platforms including a blog.
Drop off 5 menu’s and call 10 businesses per week and track progress.
Attending once community event per month.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Prepare and present event proposals, contracts, and payment schedules to clients.
Manage client files, contracts, and event timelines.
Ensure compliance with company policies, event budgets, and legal requirements.
Promote the business on Social Media
Work with the event operations team to ensure smooth event execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in event sales, wedding planning, or related roles.
Proven experience in event coordination and client management.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of the wedding and social event industry.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management tools.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Including helping the Event Directors and occasionally running an event
Highly motivated and target-driven.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Creative thinking with a customer-first "can-do" attitude.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues efficiently.

As a Bartender, you will be the key mixologist, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in crafting cocktails, exceptional customer service, and ability to engage patrons will contribute to the success of our bar services.
Job Responsibilities:
Mix and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Engage with patrons, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste.
Verify the age of customers to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change.
Monitor bar inventory, reorder supplies, and manage stock levels efficiently.
Create a welcoming atmosphere by interacting with guests and providing a positive experience.
Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines in the handling and serving of alcoholic beverages.
Handle difficult situations with patrons diplomatically and professionally.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth bar operations during events.
Requirements:
At least 3 years experience as a bartender.
Proficient in mixing and garnishing cocktails with a strong knowledge of drink recipes.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of beverage trends and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong organizational skills to manage bar inventory and supplies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Knowledge of PA LCB guidelines and strict enforcement of legal drinking age requirements.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.
Willingness to also bartend at off-site events, as required.
Team player mentality with effective communication and collaboration skills.

As a Banquet Server at the Green Ridge Club, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service during special events and banquets. Your attention to detail, customer-focused approach, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our guests events.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up banquet venues according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decor.
Greet guests and ensure prompt and accurate service.
Serve food and beverages, adhering to presentation standards and timing requirements.
Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to coordinate the flow of service.
Monitor and respond to guest needs throughout the event, providing a positive experience.
Clear tables, handle used dishes, and reset banquet spaces efficiently.
Collaborate with fellow servers to ensure seamless and synchronized service.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in handling and serving food and beverages.
Assist in event breakdown and cleanup activities after each event.
Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality or customer service role.
Ability to lift and carry trays and stand for extended periods.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organized banquet space.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules dictate.
Willingness to also serve at off-site events, as required.
